Pluzine
Pluzine is the youngest town in the Balkans.

At the end of 1975 the construction of Hydro Power Plant "Piva" was finished and reservoir was formed. By the formation of the reservoir, the old town Pluzine was submerged and its citizens were relocated to a new Pluzine town, which was built parallel with the dam construction.

At the place where the rivers Komarnica, Piva and Vrbnica once eroded the surrounding rocks, looking for an easier way, the Piva Lake is now located in the arms of the attractive canyons, with a full length of 42 km. On the forested slopes above the Lake, not far from the old town of Pluzine, there is the new town of Pluzine is located.

Situated in beautiful surroundings, with peaks of Durmitor, Volujak and Ledenica in the distance, Plužine carries the title of the youngest town in the region. Beautiful nature and builders gave the town something special which remains in the memory of those who visit this town. At the place where once the macadam road wound, through the mountain cliffs and unreachable terrains, there is now a modern road that leads from Javorakmouintain to ScepanPolje.
